8 Good Nutrition Eat When Menstruation

Part of menstruating women are often tortured. Stomach cramps, nausea, and dizziness is a symptom of emotional during her menstrual periods.

Certain types of food consumed, are believed to bring good influence on the menstrual cycle. This is a good list of foods consumed during menstruation, as quoted from Sheknows:

1. Consumption of foods high in carbohydrates
When menstruation avoid sweet foods. If you replace it with a sweet buff eating fruits.

3. Calcium-rich foods
According to holistic health counselor and a nutritionist, Thomas Latham, women need to consume calcium, especially during menstruation. "Women need to take at least 1,200 mg of calcium every day," said Latham.

Some good sources of calcium bis obtained from consumption of broccoli and yogurt.

4. Avoid salt
The best way to control salt intake is to avoid fast food, which usually contain lots of salt.

5. Dark chocolate
In her spare time, you'll want to enjoy a piece of dark chocolate with a cacao content of 60 percent every day during the menstrual period. Dark chocolate has antioxidants that can help increase serotonin to improve your mood.

6. Drinking water
Many white water than usual to help alleviate the bloating in your stomach. Addition of water to prevent constipation which is often felt at the time of menstruation.

7. Magnesium
Magnesium-rich foods like beans, tofu and peanuts can reduce bloating during menstruation. Magnesium can also help reduce fluid retention in the body.

8. Vitamins
Vitamin E may relieve some PMS symptoms. Source of Vitamin E found in avocado and egg yolk. Vitamin B6 can also help to ease bloating and reduce symptoms of depression due to menstruation. You
